My MySQL server does not start?

1. Stop the servers and close MAMP.
2. Open Windows Task Manager and check if mysql processes are running. If so, close them.
3. Now restart MAMP and start the servers.

If no more mysql processes are running and you still have problems with a MySQL server not starting, check your MySQL log file.
