MAMP PRO Will Not Install/Start

If MAMP PRO is not installing or starting and you're seeing an error message, try cleaning the existing templates. Here's how:

Steps to Clean Templates:

  1. Navigate to the following folder:

    C:\Users\[your-username]\AppData\Roaming\Appsolute\MAMPPRO\templates\

    Replace [your-username] with your actual local username.

  2. If you cannot see the AppData folder (as it may be hidden), enable hidden files:

    • Open Control Panel.
    • Go to Folder Options.
    • Click on the View tab.
    • Select 'Show hidden files, folders, and drives'.
  3. Once you can access the folder, backup and delete all files from the templates folder:

    C:\Users\[your-username]\AppData\Roaming\Appsolute\MAMPPRO\templates\

After completing these steps, try reinstalling or starting MAMP PRO again. This should resolve any issues related to template corruption.
